Launch Parts

010 Screen Purpose/Concepts

The Launch Parts page displays requirements for Pre-Job 1 Launch Programs.  Program data displays for each part/supplier/plant combination where requirements exist.  The page does not permit updates but will allow the user to transfer to the Launch Parts Detail page for a specified part via the "detail" link or to the Inventory page via selection of the displayed part number.

020 Inquiry Functions

A valid supplier code and plant group code or plant code are required for a successfully inquiry.  The users default plant group or plant code will display in the Plant field upon initial inquiry.  The user must enter a valid supplier code that is contained within the users security profile.

The default display for the Inquiry Type field is "Minus" and the default display for the Part Selection field is "New".  Both of these fields may be changed to "All" via the drop-down menus if desired.

Inquiry Type:

"Minus" displays parts that are minus to a launch program requirement. Parts display with this selection option if the BOH (including Unloaded material) + WHSE quantity + Will Make In-transit (that have an ETA less than or equal to the Into Date of the launch program) do not satisfy program requirements.

"All" displays all parts required for a launch program regardless of BOH and open transit status.

Part Selection:

"New" displays parts with a part status of "N" (New) that have launch requirements.

"All" displays all parts regardless of part type that have launch requirements.
